Adoptions
There are several rewards associated with adopting a rescued animal. Adopting an animal helps to negate the pet overpopulation problem by giving a home to an animal that is already spayed or neutered as opposed to buying from a breeder which increases the overall pet population. Adoption fees are often times much less than what it would cost to buy from a breeder. Rescued pets are often excellent companions who provide love and friendship to their owners.
Our organization adopts out animals from kittens and puppies to mature cats and dogs. Please take an opportunity to consider all ages of pets available. Our mature pets are sometimes overlooked due to their age but there are many benefits associated with adopting a mature or senior pet. Some of these benefits include: temperament of animal is already established, they are less rambunctious and destructive than that of young puppies/kittens, they often require less training and are more obedient, they often repay the adoptee with lots of love and thankfulness, and you will have the reward of saving the pet’s life.
As an organization, our ultimate goal is to place our rescues within homes that will be safe, facilitate emotional well-being for the pet, and be a good fit for the specific animal as well as the potential adopter. In order to promote this goal, we ask that anyone who is interested in adopting fill out and return the Adoption Application. Once your application is received, if it is determined that the pet could be a potential match, a meet-and-greet will be scheduled. If pets or children currently reside in the home, a meet-and-greet with the current pet(s) and/or children will be scheduled on neutral ground to give the best opportunity for the pets to connect in a positive manner. Home visits will also be scheduled prior to an adoption being approved. Thank you for your interest in adopting!
